You can determine the upgrade schedule for the appliance. The upgrade schedule will always be displayed in the appliance’s local timezone. The upgrade notification and Current Schedule can be viewed inside of Settings > Security Cloud Platform > On-Premises Infrastructure, examining the appliance, and clicking the Upgrades tab.
The upgrade schedule will provide an infobox explaining how the upgrade will occur. The edit schedule button will provide a scheduling popup that helps to schedule your upcoming upgrades on any preferred week, date and time when a release is available. The upgrade cannot be scheduled in the past nor too close to the present time as the upgrade schedule needs to be processed at the next heartbeat on an hourly basis. Editing the schedule must be set at least three hours after the current time.
If the appliance is on a release version older than the production supported 133.0.19 version, schedule preferences and Upgrade Now functionality will not be applicable and by default, the upgrade will be scheduled based on appliance timezone’s nearest Saturday at 12:00AM
Manual Upgrade
To upgrade on the next heartbeat, you can press the Upgrade Now button. The appliance will not immediately but will pull the upgrade on the next heartbeat.
Scheduled Upgrade
Upgrades can either be Full Upgrades or Component(s) Upgrades.
