The Bandwidth Consumption page provides information about the bandwidth consumption of various applications that can be filtered by event timestamp, application, user, source IP, Netskope POP, and access method. This dashboard delivers the following:
- Network administrators can utilize the dashboard to monitor bandwidth usage and identify any unusual or excessive data consumption. Customers can quickly identify the top applications responsible for consuming the most bandwidth.
- Network administrators can filter by application, enabling network teams to identify applications that are consuming excessive bandwidth or causing performance issues. This information can guide optimization efforts, such as implementing traffic shaping or prioritizing critical applications.
- Network administrators can ensure compliance with network usage policies. Administrators can monitor if any unauthorized or prohibited applications are being used by filtering for user or application. This information can be used to enforce policies and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Network teams can evaluate the bandwidth consumption patterns of different data centers.
- Network administrators can gain insights into individual user’s bandwidth usage patterns.

The Download Throughput for Top 10 Applications widget displays the download rate in Mbps in five minute intervals throughout the selected 24 hour period.
Upload Throughput for Top 10 Applications
The Upload Throughput for Top 10 Applications widget displays the upload rate in Mbps in five minute intervals throughout the selected 24 hour period.
Filtered Widgets
Filtered widgets provide you with the ability to select values in the filter bar to gain greater insights into the bandwidth consumption of various applications based on any combination of Event Timestamp, Application, User, Source IP, Netskope POP, or Access Method.
Download Throughput for Selected Filter Values
The Download Throughput for Selected Filter Values widget displays the download rate of selected values in Mbps at five minute intervals over the selected time range.
Upload Throughput for Selected Filter Values
The Upload Throughput for Selected Filter Values widget displays the upload rate of selected values in Mbps at five minute intervals over the selected time range.
