Add or Register a Custom AI Provider

To register a new AI provider, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to the Netskope tenant UI and go to Settings > Security Cloud Platform > AI Gateway > AI Provider.

2. Click New AI Provider.

3. Enter the values for the following parameters.

   • Name: Enter a name. The name always has cust as a prefix.

   • AI Schema: Choose one of the following AI providers:

     • OpenAI

     • Google Gemini

     • Claude

       When you select Others, since they are the AI schemas not supported by Netskope, the AI Gateway provides baseline functionality for access control, rate limiting, and authentication. However, content inspection features—specifically DLP inspection and AI Security Guardrails—are unavailable for these schemas.

   • Host: Specify the domain name used to access the AI provider.

   • Protocol & Port:

     • HTTPS: Specify the HTTPS port number on which the AI provider receives traffic.

     • HTTP: Specify the HTTP port number on which the AI provider receives traffic.

4. Click Save.

   The custom AI provider gets added to the AI Provider list.
