Additional Cost to Customer
Using UEBA for public cloud will result in additional costs incurred in your AWS account. The cost includes three components: AWS CloudTrail, Amazon SNS, and AmazonS3.
- AWS CloudTrail – CloudTrail is enabled on your AWS account when you create it. When activity occurs in your AWS account, that activity is recorded in a CloudTrail event. You can easily view recent events in the CloudTrail console by going to Event history. For more information about CloudTrail pricing, see AWS CloudTrail Pricing. - Amazon SNS – Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) is a fully managed messaging service for both application-to-application (A2A) and application-to-person (A2P) communication. - Amazon S3 – Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) is an object storage service offering industry-leading scalability, data availability, security, and performance. For more information about Amazon S3 pricing, see Amazon S3 Pricing. Also, you can use the AWS pricing calculator located here.
Note
For Amazon S3, you pay for data transfer charges only i.e., for all bandwidth into and out of Amazon S3.

- Total cost is per month.
- 1 free copy of management events can include an infinite number of events.
- Data and insight events are not enabled by default. If you would like them to be ingested by the Netskope UEBA engine, you will need to enable them.
