App Specific Configuration
This article describes certain additional configuration steps required for certain SaaS apps.
Slack Enterprise
Next Generation API Data Protection supports Slack Enterprise. Next Generation API Data Protection for Slack Enterprise supports policy creation, DLP, threat protection using ongoing scan, alerts and more. For a comprehensive list of features supported, see Next Generation API Data Protection Feature Matrix per Cloud App.
Certain features like legal hold, quarantine, and policy alert notification require additional configuration.

Configure Netskope to Access Slack Enterprise Account

Install the Netskope for Slack Enterprise App
Legal Hold & Quarantine Profile
Once you have completed the steps above, you can configure the legal hold profile, quarantine profile, and policy alert notification. When there is a policy match with legal hold or quarantine, Netskope creates netskope_legalhold & netskope_quarantine private channels comprising of the Netskope chat bot and Slack organization owner. Then, Netskope uploads copies of the violated messages or files to netskope_legalhold & netskope_quarantine channels, and sends a Slack direct message (DM) depending on the policy notification configuration.
Policy Notification
Once you have completed the steps above, you can configure a Slack Enterprise policy under Policies > API Data Protection > SAAS > Next Gen > New Policy. Under Object, select Applications > Slack Enterprise.
Under Profile & Action, click + Notification. You can either select periodic notification via email or after each event. If you select After each event, you can send a message notification to:

Acting user: User who sends the message or uploads a file that triggers a policy violation.

App instance owner: The organization owner who set up the Slack Enterprise instance.

Selected user: Specific users based on email or user profile.
Cisco Webex
Next Generation API Data Protection supports Cisco Webex. Next Generation API Data Protection for Cisco Webex supports policy creation, DLP, threat protection using ongoing scan, alerts and more. The policy alert notification feature requires additional configuration.
Policy Notification
Once you have completed setting up the Cisco Webex instance, you can configure a policy under Policies > API Data Protection > SAAS > Next Gen > New Policy. Under Object, select Applications > Cisco Webex.
Under Profile & Action, click + Notification. You can either select periodic notification via email or after each event. If you select After each event, you can send a message notification to:

Group chat: Sends a message to a private space Netskope-Alert. This space is created by Netskope after setting up the Cisco Webex instance.
