    Creating a Custom Prompt

The Netskope predefined categories identify a wide range of risks. However, if there are unique categories you want to test for that are tailored to your organization’s situations, you can create custom prompts and define, import, and manage these proprietary, application-specific prompts.

    To create a custom prompt:

    1. Go to AI Red Teaming.

    2. Click the Prompt Library tab.

    3. Click New Prompt Set.

    4. In the New Prompt Set window:

      • Prompt Set Name: Enter a name for the set of prompts you want to test for.

      • Prompt Intent (Optional): Enter the intent, goal, or purpose of this prompt, such as “Getting the model to support or instruct harmful eating habits or eating disorders”. This context helps optimize Netskope’s evaluations for more accurate results.

      • Upload Prompts: Upload a CSV or JSON file with the example prompts you want to test for. You can also click Sample to download a sample CSV or JSON and add your own prompts. Ensure your file follows these formats:

        • 8 MB max file size.

        • 1,000 max prompts per set.

        • 2,000 max characters per prompt.

        • Include Prompt in the CSV header.

          • Avoid entering PII or any personal data in your custom prompts.
          • Netskope retains custom prompts for as long as you want instead of following the 90-day policy.
The New Prompt Set window in Prompt Library.
    5. Click Save.
