    Creating a File Hash List

    You can create a file hash list when adding a file profile and use it as an allowlist or blocklist for files in your organization. Netskope supports MD5 or SHA-256 entries for file hash lists.

    Note

    To enable this feature, contact Netskope Sales.

    To create a file hash list:

    1. Go to Policies > File.
    2. Click New File Profile.
    3. In the Add File Profile window, click File Hash.
    4. Select the type of hash to scan for, such as SHA-256 and MD5, and enter the hash values. Click Import from CSV to upload file hashes from a CSV file (8 MB limit).

    5. Click Next.
    6. Enter a name for the file profile.
    7. Click Save.
    8. Click Apply Changes.

    You can select the file hash list when creating a Malware Detection profile.

    Updating a File Hash List
