Enterprise Browser supports Android, Chrome OS, iOS, and iPadOS. This feature extends Netskope’s robust Security Service Edge (SSE) platform to mobile and cloud-based operating systems, providing a secure, managed browsing experience for your corporate users.
This offering is a key step in supporting the modern workforce and BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device) environments. By offering a hardened, Chromium-based managed browser, you can extend your granular security policies to mobile web traffic, from a unified platform for managed and unmanaged, desktop and mobile devices.
Enterprise Browser is available for download in Google Play. A license is required to use it; only accounts with Enterprise Browser enabled can get licenses.
Netskope Enterprise Browser for Android OS
We support the Netskope Enterprise Browser on Android devices. This native, full Chromium-based browser is managed centrally through the Netskope UI, allowing you to:
- Simplify User Experience: The browser provides a self-contained, secure workspace, clearly separating corporate access from the user’s personal browsing.
- Secure Unmanaged Devices: Apply Netskope SSE services like SWG, CASB, Threat Protection, and DLP to traffic on unmanaged Android devices.

Netskope Enterprise Browser for Chrome OS
The Netskope Enterprise Browser is available for Chrome OS, providing a secure browsing experience on par with the Enterprise Browser desktop offering. This feature allows:
- Unified Policy Management: Manage policies for Chrome OS users from the same Netskope console used for all other devices.
- Deep Contextual Controls: Define rich, contextual policies based on the user, device state, and their actions.

Netskope Enterprise Browser for iOS and iPadOS
Netskope Enterprise Browser is available on iOS and iPadOS. This native, Chromium-based browser brings Netskope’s secure managed browsing to mobile—steering traffic through Netskope New Edge so users get a smooth mobile experience with consistent security policies across devices.
This feature includes:
- Secure browsing for Web & SaaS: Access web and SaaS destinations with traffic steered via New Edge for consistent policy enforcement.
- Private Access (NPA) support: Securely access private apps from iOS/iPadOS using Enterprise Browser.
- Core security controls: Admin controls for copy, paste, and print to help reduce data leakage on mobile.
- MDM support: Supports enterprise deployment and management via Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Considerations include:
- Mandatory certificate install (required): iOS users must manually install and trust the local proxy certificate for Enterprise Browser to function correctly; the browser provides on-screen instructions until this is completed.
- iOS share menu behavior: Standard iOS sharing options (for example, opening in another browser app) may still be visible.
- Availability: Not available in Compliance stacks.
Netskope Enterprise Browser Support for Private Apps in iOS and iPadOS
Netskope Private Access (NPA) for Enterprise Browser is available on iOS and iPadOS. This feature builds on the Enterprise Browser + NPA integration introduced for desktop, Enterprise Browser on iOS, and iPadOS can securely access web private applications using the same Zero Trust access model and centralized policy controls—extending the experience to mobile users without changing how admins configure access.
This feature includes:
- Web private app access from iOS/iPadOS Enterprise Browser: Users can access private HTTP/HTTPS web apps through NPA directly from Enterprise Browser on mobile, consistent with the desktop integration experience.
- Consistent policy enforcement: Existing NPA access policies and bypass behavior apply when users access private web apps via Enterprise Browser on iOS/iPadOS, helping keep controls consistent across platforms.
- Seamless user authentication: Authentication is handled transparently to reduce repeated sign-ins and keep access smooth when moving between private web apps.
Considerations include:
- Enterprise Browser on iOS/iPadOS supports web private applications (HTTP/HTTPS). Access to SSH and RDP private applications on iOS/iPadOS is not supported.
