The Enterprise Browser maintains two versions:
- The Netskope Product Version (e.g. 1.0.0)
- The Chromium version (e.g. 132.0.6834.85)
You can check the versions in Settings: Menu > About Enterprise Netskope Enterprise Browser
And internally: Type “netskope://version” in the navigation bar.
Enterprise Browser Product Version Bumping
The Netskope version is bumped based on the following criteria:
- MAJOR number is updated when major or breaking changes are included in the product (either the browser itself, our backend services, or the Netskope platform)
- MINOR number is updated when rebasing to a Chromium major version
- PATCH number is updated when including minor Chromium or our own changes
