    Executive Dashboard

    Executive Dashboard

The Executive Dashboard gives you a single-page, high-level view of your Device Intelligence environment. It is a consolidated dashboard covering device counts, security posture, network reach, and asset sources.

Use the controls at the top of the dashboard to scope what you see:

    • Date range: Select the time window for the dashboard (for example, Last 30 Days). Some tiles do not populate, or their click-through navigation does nothing, when the range is set to Beginning of Time. See Clicking through the details below.

    • Switch Sites: Change which site or tunnel the dashboard reports on. The subtitle under the page title lists the active sites and tunnels.

    Device Overview

The Device Overview panel summarizes how many devices Device Intelligence has discovered and how they break down by ownership and management status.

    • Total Devices and New Devices: Tile counts for the selected date range. New Devices does not link anywhere when the date range is set to Beginning of Time.
    • IoT, User & Auto Devices donut: Shows the split between Auto Devices and User Devices.
    • Overall Corporate Devices donut: Shows the split between Corporate, Corporate Unmanaged, and Employee Owned devices.
    • Protocols, Device Types, Other Devices, Manufacturers, Random Mac Addresses, Unmanaged Devices: Summary counts for the selected range.

    Security Overview

The Security Overview panel shows a Sankey chart connecting Devices with Risk and Devices with Alerts to their severity levels: High, Med, and Low. The width of each flow reflects the proportion of devices in that severity category.

    Alert Events

The Alert Events panel shows the total number of alert events for the selected date range as a ring chart, broken down by High, Medium, and Low severity.

    Network Overview (Top 50)

The Network Overview panel shows up to the top 50 SSIDs and subnets in the environment.

    • SSIDs donut: Total SSID count detected. Shows 0 if the environment has no SSIDs configured or detected.
    • Subnets donut: Total subnet count, with each subnet’s device count available on hover. For example, hovering over a subnet segment shows the subnet address and its device count.

When the count reaches the 50-item limit, the tile title reflects the total.

    Asset Systems Overview

The Asset Systems Overview panel shows a bubble chart of the asset management systems reporting into Device Intelligence, such as Oomnitza, Device Intelligence, Rapid7, Vul, and Puppet. Overlapping bubbles represent devices that multiple systems report on. The legend lists each source and any overlap combinations, with an up arrow next to sources that increased since the previous period.

    Top Asset Sources

The Top Asset Sources panel shows a bar chart of asset sources ranked by device count. Use the View dropdown to change how many sources display (for example, Top 10 Asset Sources).

    Clicking through to details

Most tiles and chart elements link to a more detailed view:

    • Total Devices, New Devices, Other Devices, Random Mac Addresses, Unmanaged Devices, SSIDs, Subnets, Alert Events, Devices with Risk, Devices with Alerts: Navigate to Inventory.
    • Protocols: Navigates to Investigate > Devices > Protocols. Does nothing if the date range is Beginning of Time or the account has fewer than 30 days of data.
    • Device Types, Manufacturers: Navigate to Investigate > Devices > Types.
    • Asset Systems Overview and Top Asset Sources elements: Navigate to Manage > Assets.
