    Install and Configure the Netskope Adapters

    This document describes the steps to install Netskope Adapters.

    Prerequisite

    Download the Netskope Adapter file (NSAdapters.msi). To download, log into your Netskope tenant, go to Settings > Tools > Directory Tools and click Download Tools.

    Install Netskope Adapters

    Refer to the following steps for installation:

    1. Open the NSAdapters.msi file to install Netskope Adapters.

    2. Click Run.

    3. Click Next.

    4. During installation, the system prompts you to enter the username for the installation process. In the Netskope Adapters Setup window enter the User Name and Password.

      Enter the username in the following format <domain-name>\<username>.

    5. When finished, click Next.

    6. Select one or more features to install on your local hard drive. By default, the system selects Directory Importer. If you want to select AD Connector, follow the instructions:

      1. Click AD Connector.

      2. Toggle the arrow for features and choose Will be installed on local hard drive.

      3. Once your selections are complete, click Install.

    The installation process uses the entered username to install the Services. 

    If you encounter the following message, correct the username format in the dialog to <domain-name>\<username>.
