UX Improvements

The following UX Improvements have been implemented:

  • User vs. Admin Time Zone

Easily switch between your local time zone and the end-user’s time zone from the top right section of the user details page, allowing you to view data for the selected timezone.

  • Hop-by-Hop View Enhancements

The hop-by-hop view has been enhanced to display the latency of collapsed nodes inside the collapsed circle. This enhancement makes it easier to identify the worst latency path without expanding the hops.

  • Focus Mode

The new zoom feature enables you to focus on specific time durations for more precise troubleshooting. When you zoom in on any chart, all other charts on the “User Details” page will sync and zoom in to give you an easy way to visually correlate different metrics.

  • Improved Overlay and Underlay Troubleshooting Workflow

The overlay chart has been repositioned above the underlay chart to streamline the troubleshooting workflow. This change makes it easier to interpret data and take action. Additionally, a link has been added on the overlay data hover that allows you to jump directly to the corresponding time in the underlay. This helps you quickly correlate overlay issues with underlay data, particularly when overlay latency is high.

  • Underlay View

Enhancements to the underlay widget make it easier to view latency between the device and the POP. This can enable admins to quickly identify issues.

  • Widget and Chart Enhancements
    • Start and end times are now consistent across all widgets, helping you easily correlate metrics and spot trends.
    • Newly added circle markers to all line charts to help you quickly identify any missing data points and improve overall readability.
    • All line charts under the “Details” section are now linked, enabling seamless data correlation across different views.
    • Hovering over a data point in one chart now displays the tooltip for the same or nearest timestamp across all linked charts.
    • The color scheme has been updated for better visual differentiation: Blue (#0294C9) for single-line charts, and Blue (#0294C9) along with Orange (#FF8200) for two-line charts.
    • Tooltips for DEM experience, CPU memory, and Disk I/O charts have been resized for a more streamlined and clear view.
  • Label Update

The OS version label on the user details page has been simplified to “OS”.

  • Cosmetic Enhancements

Netskope has optimized space utilization and improved label alignment on the “User Overview” table view.

  • App Filter Revamp

The app filter has been revamped to display a preset list of configured applications, making it easier for you to see all monitored applications at a glance and quickly select the ones you want to focus on.
