New Features And Enhancements In Hotfix Release 98.1.0

Here is the list of the new features and enhancements.

Netskope Secure Web Gateway (NG SWG)
Alert Action Support

Netskope supported matching Real-time Protection policies and SSL decryption policies with the Do Not Decrypt action, but the Alert action was not supported. With this release, the Alert action is supported for the above scenario.

Contact Netskope Support to enable this feature and choose actions such as Block, User Alert, Allow, or Alert for the Real-time Protection policies.

Next Generation API Data Protection
Policy Wizard Enhancements

Netskope has introduced following new enhancements in Next Generation API Data Protection policy wizard:

Microsoft 365 OneDrive & SharePoint GCC High New Permission Request

The Netskope CASB API for OneDrive & SharePoint [GCC High] apps now require you to allow the Have full control of all site collections permission. This permission replaces the earlier Read items in all site collections permission. The new permission now allows the following:

  • Policy actions: Allows Netskope to revoke permissions from files that have violated a policy.
  • Activity scan: Allows Netskope to get notifications of the latest and most accurate permission updates for files & folders from the Microsoft Graph API.

Existing Microsoft 365 OneDrive & SharePoint GCC High instances should be re-granted in the Netskope UI.

Zoom DLP Support

As part of this release, Netskope has rolled out a new policy wizard and activity scan for Zoom. Now you can create a DLP policy for Zoom by navigating to Policies > API Data Protection > Next Gen. For more information, see Next Generation API Data Protection Policy Wizard.

Netskope Private Access
Browser Access and Client Access Methods now displayed under Network Events

All user activity for NPA Browser Access was displayed under Page events, while activity for the Netskope Client was displayed under Network events. Now both activities are displayed under Network Events.

Remote Isolation Browser (RBI)
Updated Toast Duration

The warning message includes information such as the page is browsed in isolation, and the actions prohibited by security admin.

The warning message appears if any of these two controls are enabled in the RBI template attached to the policy:

  • Toast (warning message) Isolation indicator is enabled
  • Read-Only user action control is enabled
