Allowing Unauthenticated Traffic from IP Addresses

Allowing Unauthenticated Traffic from IP Addresses

For Cloud Explicit Proxy, you can configure an allowlist where you add any source egress IP addresses for your on-premises users. Netskope allow the traffic from the added user and IP address without authenticating.

To add an IP address to the Explicit Proxy allowlist:

  1. Go to Settings > Security Cloud Platform > Explicit Proxy.

  2. Under the IP Address Allowlist & User Identity section, click Add IP Address.

  3. In Add IP Address:

    • Name: Enter a name for the user and IP address you want to exempt from authenticating via Explicit Proxy.

    • IP Address: Enter the source egress IP address for the user or office location you want to exempt from authenticating via Explicit Proxy. Netskope will allow the traffic from devices behind the IP address or CIDR. You can enter multiple IP addresses separated by a comma.

The Add IP Address window in the IP Address Allowlist & User Identity section for Explicit Proxy.
  4. (Optional) Click Add Another to add multiple IP addresses separately.

  5. Click Add.
