Major New Features 

Support for Unstructured On-Prem Fileshares 

Netskope One DSPM can now connect to, scan, and classify unstructured data within any file share (both on-prem and cloud) that supports CIFS or SMB file access storage protocols. Expanded coverage for unstructured data provides enhanced visibility into all sensitive data across your on-prem and cloud environments.

Stale Data Detection 

Netskope One DSPM now supports Shadow Data Analysis for select data stores, surfacing insights on the date last accessed, by who, and the size of stale data (e.g., data not accessed within a configured duration). This information helps organizations better understand where stale data is being left unmonitored and thus less secure. They can then take appropriate remediation measures to purge or secure the stale data.

Improvements and Updates 

Updates to Classification Management Widgets for Unstructured Data 

The Classification Management page now displays actionable insights for sensitive data detected in files within unstructured data stores.

Commvault Integration Tenant URL 

You’ll now be prompted to include your Commvault tenant URL while configuring the Commvault integration. This ensures that Netskope One DSPM integrates with the correct Commvault tenant and is a mandatory field for completing the connection.
