Major New Features 

Support for NFS-Based On-Prem File Shares 

Netskope One DSPM can now connect to, scan, and classify unstructured data within any file share that supports NFS, in addition to CIFS and SMB file access storage protocols. Expanded coverage for unstructured data provides enhanced visibility into all sensitive data across your on-prem and cloud environments.

Support for Snippets in Unstructured Data 

Netskope One DSPM now allows users with appropriate permissions to view file snippets in the “All Files” view on the Classification Management page, providing a key tool to validate how sensitive data in unstructured environments is classified. This lets users confirm whether the system has accurately-identified sensitive information, improving classification accuracy. It also plays a crucial role in supporting future enhancements to the false positive workflow. By offering greater transparency and control, this feature builds trust in Netskope One DSPM’s classification engine and enhances overall data security management.

Improvements and Updates 

Updates to Data Store Inventory Widgets 

The Data Store Inventory page now displays actionable insights for sensitive data detected in files within unstructured data stores and updates for Structured

Quick Scans In-Progress Filter 

The Data Store Inventory page now displays an icon above the table that, when clicked, quickly switches the display to only show data stores with scans currently in-progress.  This allows you to easily focus on such data stores and monitor their activities to completion.
