New Features And Enhancements In Hotfix Release 117.1.0

Here is the list of the new features and enhancements.

Remote Browser Isolation (RBI)

Improved Session Expiry

Improved the User Experience for session expiry. Prior to this enhancement, users had a disruptive experience. They were presented with a standard error template after all session inactivity expiry.

With this enhancement, upon a session inactivity expiry RBI maintains the last rendered image, with a dark semi-transparent overlay and showing a user notification on top. Users can still see what was last rendered in the browser without interacting with the actual webpage, delivering a more friendly and equally secure experience. Users can reload the isolated webpage with a button click.

Copy and Save Image

Simplified the User Experience for Copy Image option in the RBI Context Menu.

Prior to this enhancement, extracting an image from the isolated webpage was a complicated process.

With this enhancement, when you right click on an image the Copy/Save Image option pop-up in the RBI Context Menu. When the user clicks on this option, a dialog box with Copy and Save button appears, simplifying the user experience.

“Copy to Clipboard” and “File Download” must be enabled in the RBI template to enable the option in an isolated webpage.

SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM)

API Enhancements for “inventory/getresources”

With this enhancement, two additional fields creation_time and last_updated_time are included in the response returned by the /api/v2/spm/inventory/getresources API. This change impacts only the REST API and has no impact on the UI.

This response change is not applicable when ngl_query parameter is used in the API to define search criteria.

New Compliance Standard Support- CIS 3.1 for Microsoft 365

With this release, SSPM now supports Center for Internet Security (CIS) 3.1 compliance standard for Microsoft 365.
