New Features And Enhancements In Hotfix Release 119.1.0

Deployments occur over a two-week window. If you do not see this feature on your tenant immediately, please wait until the deployment period has concluded.
To check your tenant software version, navigate to Settings > General.

Next Generation API Data Protection

Download or Email Dashboard Report

Starting this release, you can download or email a PDF report from the API-enabled Protection > SAAS (NEXT GEN) > Dashboard page. You can select the desired application and click the PDF REPORT drop-down and select either of the options below:

Download: Use this option to download a PDF report of all instances of the selected application.
Email: Use this option to email a copy of the PDF report to a user.

This feature is available for storage apps only.

Support New Restrict Access Policy Action

Starting this release, Next Generation API Data Protection has introduced a new restrict access policy action – Set Link Expiration Date. With this action, publicly shared links will expire after ‘x’ days. When you select this option, a prompt will appear asking you to specify the number of days until the link expires.

This action is specific to Box storage app only. Log in to Box as an admin, then navigate to Admin Console > Enterprise Settings > Content & Sharing tab. Scroll down to the Auto-Expiration setting and enable Allow item owners and editors to modify the expiration date. This setting is required for this action to work.

The new restrict access policy action is available when you Configure a Next Generation API Data Protection Policy for Box.

Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication Rules in Entra ID (earlier Azure AD)

Netskope has limited the scope of 3 Entra ID rules for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to apply only to internal users who are active and enabled. This ensures that the checks target the most relevant users and reduces noise from failures involving non-internal users, such as guest accounts and service accounts.
