The Password Policy tab allows Super Admins to configure password complexity requirements that apply to all Cloud Exchange users.

Configuration Settings
Go to Settings > Users > Password Policy to configure the following settings:
- Minimum Length: Minimum number of characters required (default: 8).
- Maximum Length: Maximum number of characters allowed (default: 72).
- Require Uppercase Letters: Password must contain at least one uppercase letter (default: enabled).
- Require Lowercase Letters: Password must contain at least one lowercase letter (default: enabled).
- Require Numeric Digits: Password must contain at least one number (default: enabled).
- Require Special Characters: Password must contain at least one special character (default: enabled).
Default Policy: Minimum 8 characters, Maximum 72 characters, with Uppercase, Numeric, and Special characters required.
Common Use Cases
- Increase Security: Increase the minimum password length (like from 8 to 12 characters) for enhanced security.
- Compliance Requirements: Adjust character requirements to meet your organizational security standards.
- Reset Policy: Click Reset to Defaults to restore the default policy settings.
Policy Enforcement
Password policies are automatically enforced when:
- New User Creation: Super Admins must set an initial password that complies with the policy.
- Password Changes: Users must follow the policy when changing their password.
- Policy Updates: When the password policy is changed, all existing users will be prompted to change their password on their next login (similar to first-time login behavior).
Users are not explicitly shown the policy requirements but will receive validation errors if their password does not meet the configured requirements.
