The following table lists the category name/type and required license to use the functionality to create policies.

Targeted RBI Web Categories
The Targeted RBI specific web categories shown in the UI are explained in the table below.
| Category | Description |

| Newly Registered Domain | All the newly registered domains are placed under this category. |
| Newly Observed Domain (NOD) | Domains observed as active in the last 30 days. These domains are potentially malicious as bad actors can use the domain for malicious activities such as malware hosting and phishing. NOD has been added to the list of recommended categories in RBI Real-time protection policies, and it is now included by default in any RBI policy created leveraging the RBI policy creation wizard. You can edit existing RBI policies to add NOD to your isolation Real-time protection policies. |
| No Content | Sites that don’t have any content on the entire site are categorized as No Content. |
| Parked Domains | Parked Domain is the registration of an Internet domain name without that domain being associated with any services, such as e-mail or a website. This may have been done to reserve the domain name for future development, and to protect against the possibility of cybersquatting. Examples are parked domains, for sale call domain owners, etc. |
| Uncategorized | Domains that are yet to be categorized. |
| Web Proxies/Anonymizers | Web proxies and anonymizers are services that allow users to hide their identity, IP address and location when they browse the web. Unlike apps in other categories, which might have a justification for being used, proxies and anonymizers pose a security and legal risk to the organization and should be blocked. Netskope Cloud Confidence Index (CCI) does not apply to these apps. Sample URLs include: kproxy.com, hidemyass.com, expressvpn.com |
Extended RBI Web Categories

The current list of Web Categories and Web Apps available for use with Extended RBI is a subset of what’s available for policies.
The following web categories are available to isolate unsanctioned web apps. The list below is in addition to the RBI specific web categories defined in the section above.

| Application Suites | Application Suite indicates that applications listed under this category have multiple products from their respective companies in various other categories. |
| Business | Sites that are categorized as trade, purchase and sale of products or services. NOTE: This category appears as a supported category with the Extended RBI license when adding it to isolate policies. An additional license is required to use Extended RBI. Contact your sales representative to enable this feature. |
| Chat, IM & other communication | Web pages with real-time chat rooms and messaging allowing strangers and friends to chat in groups both in public and private chats. Includes Internet Relay Chat (IRC). Examples are chat room, group chat, irc etc. |
| Cloud Storage | Cloud storage services may be accessed through a co-located cloud compute service, a web service application programming interface(API) or by applications that utilize the API, such as cloud desktop storage, a cloud storage gateway or Web-based content management systems. |
| Consumer | On-premise storage, computing, and device hardware sites. NOTE: This category appears as a supported category with the Extended RBI license when adding it to isolate policies. An additional license is required to use Extended RBI. Contact your sales representative to enable this feature. |
| File Converter | Sites that allow converting a document from one file type to another. |
| Knowledge Management | Sites that are capture, develop, share, organizational knowledge. NOTE: This category appears as a supported category with the Extended RBI license when adding it to isolate policies. An additional license is required to use Extended RBI. Contact your sales representative to enable this feature. |
| Pay To Surf | Sites that offer cash to users who install their software ads and track browsing habits, effectively allowing users to be paid to surf the web. Extremely popular for awhile, there are a few Pay To Surf sites left. Examples are Make money by surf, Pay to surf, Surf and earn, etc. |
| Professional Networking | Social networking sites intended for professionals and business relationship building. These sites are generally more accepted in the workplace than standard social networking websites. Examples are professional networking, and professional networking tool. |
| Security Risk – Phishing/Fraud | Sites that impersonate other web pages to steal data. NOTE: This category appears as a supported category with the Extended RBI license when adding it to isolate policies. An additional license is required to use Extended RBI. Contact your sales representative to enable this feature. |
| Security Risk – Spam sites | Sites that are categorized as spam with the goal of sending spam messages. NOTE: This category appears as a supported category with the Extended RBI license when adding it to isolate policies. An additional license is required to use Extended RBI. Contact your sales representative to enable this feature. |
| Social | Social sites, including communication tools and interactive tools, often based on the Internet. Sllow users to come together online around shared interests, hobbies or causes. For example, some sites provide meeting organization facilities for people who practice the same sports. |
| Web mail | Webmail (or web-based email) isites are any email clients implemented as a web application running on a web server. Enables users to send and/or receive email through a web accessible email account. |

Cloud app matching is available for narrow matching criteria (isolating the app) for the following 18 cloud apps and associated web categories.
