Device Intelligence offers a powerful risk management feature, calculating unique risk scores for each device based on customizable parameters. This enables customers to fine-tune risk settings, ensuring devices remain secure and up-to-date.

Define risk thresholds for different severity levels: High, Medium, and Low.

Adjust decay values by setting the number of days for retaining risk factors before they are reset.

Many customers choose a weekly reset to ensure device security, requiring regular updates and re-evaluation of risk scores.

Configuring Risk Settings

Set Risk Range:

Navigate to Manage > Risk Settings.

Use the sliders to adjust the risk severity ranges. Default settings:

Low: 0–55
-
Medium: 55–75
-
High: 75–100
-

Click Save to apply changes.

Set Risk Decay Value:
-
Customize the risk decay duration to determine how long a risk factor will affect a device’s score.

Choose from 0 to 60 days (default is 30 days).

Click Save to finalize your settings.

Resetting Device Risk
From the Device Inventory

Go to Inventory and select the device to reset.

Click the Reset Risk button above the table.

Confirm the reset action.

Allow a few minutes for the device’s risk score to reset.
From Drill Down Pages

Navigate to Inventory > Events or Investigate > Risk.

Select the desired device(s).

From the bottom menu, select an option as Risk Reset.

Click Apply Action.
