To download the latest Netskope Adapter file, login to your Netskope tenant, go to Settings > Tools > Directory Tools and click the Download Tools button.
The upgrade steps are similar to Netskope Adapter installation procedure. To upgrade, follow the steps outlined in the Install and Configure the Netskope Adapters topic.
Before upgrading the host operating system for the machine running AD Importer, perform the following steps:

Back up the following files to restore the service if the upgrade fails:

C:\Program Files\Netskope\NSAdapters\ADImporter\nsADImporterConfig.json (AD Importer configuration file)

C:\Users\Public\netskope\adimporter\datastore.json

Store these files on a different machine to ensure availability if the upgrade fails.
If the operating system upgrade fails, restore AD Importer on a replacement machine:

Install AD Importer on the replacement machine.

Copy your backed-up configuration and data files to their original locations on the new machine before starting the AD Importer service.

Start the AD Importer service.

Verify the service is running and monitor the logs to ensure the data syncs correctly.
