What Does the Risk Score and Confidence Level Mean in AICC?

AI Command Center shows a Risk badge on the Overview and Inventory pages for AI Applications, MCP Servers, and Identities. The badge combines a reconciled risk level with a confidence indicator into one signal, so you don’t have to cross-reference separate risk scores and verdict values to understand an item’s risk posture.

    Risk Levels

Each item carries one of the following risk levels:

Critical: Immediate action needed. The investigation found strong signs of a data breach or policy violation.

High: Urgent review needed. Significant risk indicators are present.

Medium: Standard review recommended. Moderate risk factors were identified.

Low: Minimal concern. Activity patterns look routine.

Legitimate: The investigation reviewed the flagged activity and confirmed it’s normal. No action needed.

Inconclusive: The investigation ran but didn’t have enough data to reach a verdict.

Unknown: No risk score or investigation verdict exists yet for this item.

    Confidence Indicator

Along with the risk level, the badge shows a confidence indicator as dots. This reflects how confident the assessment is in the assigned risk level. Hover over the badge to see the confidence detail.

Items with Unknown risk show no confidence indicator, since nothing has been computed for them yet.

This data comes from the AI Risk Agent (Beta), part of AI SecOps. For details on how risk is calculated, see the AI Risk Agent documentation in your tenant.
