Description du service
NewEdge Express Connect offre un moyen de diriger le trafic vers Netskope NewEdge centre de données (DC), également appelés Points de Présence (POP), via des connexions dédiées entre le NewEdge DC et l’infrastructure sur site du client.
Definitions and Units of Measure
Units of Measure
- Port: One Subscription Unit includes one pair of Ports. Ports can only be purchased in pairs.
- Bandwidth: Measured in Gigabits per second (Gbps), representing the aggregate maximum allowable bidirectional data transfer rate distributed across the pair of Ports.
Entitlement
Subscription Period: As set forth in a customer’s order.
Licensing Model/Base Allocation: A Subscription for Ports provides access to the purchased number of pairs of Ports. Each pair of Ports includes a fixed maximum allowable Bandwidth as per the entitled Subscription.
Licensing ExampleUn abonnement NewEdge Express Connect – 10 Gbit/ s comprend :
- Reservation of two 10 Gbps Ports in a NewEdge DC for the customer to connect.
- Ability to send up to 10 Gbps upload and receive 10 Gbps download traffic total across a pair of Ports, not across each Port.
- Exceeding the 10 Gbps upload and 10 Gbps download total across both links may trigger traffic failure resulting in a degraded user experience, and is subject to a true forward for Bandwidth usage beyond the entitlement.
Pooling
- Port entitlement is pooled at the account level and Ports can be shared across multiple customer tenants; however, Bandwidth is not pooled across multiple pairs of Ports.
- If a customer requires more than two Ports (one pair) or additional Bandwidth, they must purchase the applicable additional Subscription Units.
Usage Monitoring
Netskope will continually monitor the customer’s actual usage and notify the customer if/when the customer exceeds the Bandwidth entitlement.
Measurement and Enforcement
Measurement Methodology: Netskope continually measures customer Bandwidth based on the peak throughput of Gbps processed (upload and download) across a pair of Ports. At all times, Bandwidth must stay below the maximum entitled data transfer rate (upload and download) respectively across both Ports combined (not per Port).
Overage Notification: Netskope will continually monitor traffic throughput and notify customers in case of any excess usage.
Service Limitations: Netskope reserves the right to constrain throughput should usage exceed the entitled Bandwidth. Exceeding Bandwidth entitlement may result in service degradation or traffic failure.
Overage Remediation: If the customer’s Bandwidth in either direction exceeds the purchased Bandwidth twice during any 12 month period by more than 5% for a continuous duration of more than 5 minutes, the customer shall be required to purchase the requisite incremental “Add-on” package(s), or upgrade to the subsequent Bandwidth tier within the ensuing 30 days to accommodate the un-entitled Bandwidth.
Netskope may modify these Licensing Terms to ensure optimal network performance and stability; any modifications will be effective in any subsequent Subscription Period.
Customer Records: The customer may be required to provide system data, audit logs, or written confirmation of Bandwidth usage upon reasonable request by Netskope for verification purposes.
Exclusions
