The Explore page is your starting point to define the dimensions, measures, and other fields that are used in your report to retrieve, customize, and chart your data.
Netskope’s Data Collection dropdown provides focused areas of interest by which to analyze data:
- Page Events
- Application Events
- Alerts
- Transaction Events
- Incidents – if you select Incidents as your data collection, selected values for the fields are enriched from the Alerts data collection. To learn more: Advanced Analytics Incidents Event Fields
- Devices
- SSPM Evaluation Results
The data shown in an Explore is determined by the dimensions and measures you select from the All Fields and In Use options at the left. A dimension can be thought of as a group or bucket of data. A measure is information about that bucket of data. Dimensions appear as blue columns and measures appear as orange columns in your data table.
Data Retention
Click the info icon to see high level stats for your Advanced Analytics account data retention. To learn more: Advanced Analytics Data Retention
Explore Settings
Click the gear icon next to the Run button to view your Settings Options.
Admins can save as a new dashboard, add to an existing dashboard, or save as a widget. You will see a message at the top of your Explore page similar to the following.
Click View Dashboard in the example above, to open the newly saved dashboard. Optionally, you can access the dashboard in the folder to which you saved the dashboard.
