This release provides several improvements to your DEM experience, focusing on improving the user experience and offering more flexible configuration options.
Enhanced Network Visualization
- New Interactive Traceroute Map: Gain a more intuitive understanding of network paths with the redesigned traceroute visualization. This new view includes:
- Clear displays of your customer site and the Netskope network.
- Provides richer node information.
- Automatically keeps auto-diagnostic enabled when you turn it on.
- Offers a better and more explicit focus view when investigating specific nodes.
- Shows more detailed information like IP addresses as you zoom in (use “shift + mouse wheel” for easy zoom).
- Includes a convenient map legend in the top right and settings in the top left for customization.
- Improved Path Performance Dashboard: The first six widgets on the Path Performance dashboard are now shorter, allowing you to see a portion of the new traceroute visualization without needing to scroll.
- Smarter Legend Colors: The map legend now utilizes an intelligent algorithm to ensure better differentiation between colors, even when multiple inputs have similar hues.
Improved User Interface Performance
Faster Loading: The loading process has been optimized, resulting in a noticeably faster initial loading experience.
Flexible Enterprise Station Configuration
Downloadable Docker Compose File: For customers managing their own virtual machines with Docker, you now have the option to download a standalone Docker Compose file. This option offers enhanced flexibility in the deployment process.
