This section describes the primary components in the Enhanced Reports interface.

The Enhanced Reports interface allows you to:

–  Export reports

Reports are collections of one or more saved widgets/reports.

You may come across some new terminology while using Enhanced Reports that differs slightly from the Classic Reports. Use the table below as reference.

Dashboard / ReportA collection of one or more saved reports, displayed as visualization or text tiles together on one page.
WidgetWidgets are a visual representation of a report that you add to a dashboard.
VisualizationVisualizations are different types of graphics and charts that best show off your data. You create graphics and charts based on the results of a report.
Personal folderA collection of our personal reports of which you only have access.
Group folderThis is your group's folder. All users in your organization can access the items saved here.
Favorite FolderAdmins can ‘favorite’ a dashboard; dashboards added as a 'favorite' are marked with a star icon. All dashboards (including those in the Netskope Library) can be added as a ‘favorite’. This enables you to organize and quickly locate frequently accessed dashboards. The favorite dashboards appear in the Favorite folder.
Scheduled FolderUsers can schedule Personal, Group, or Netskope Library dashboards as well as widgets to send to recipients at a specific date and time. The scheduled reports appear in the Scheduled folder.
Netskope Library folderA collection of most frequently requested dashboards. Use the items in this library to get started. You cannot edit them, but you can copy them to your own folder.

To open the Enhanced Reports interface, click Enhanced Reports in the Netskope admin console. The first time you access reports, you will see the following screen.

Use the scroll bars to view the widgets within a section.

What’s in Enhanced Reports?

These are the elements that make up Enhanced Reports. These terms are unique to the New Reports and differ from the Classic Reports.

•   Folders – Save your widgets and reports in your Personal folder for private use, or share it via the Group folder. The Group folder contains reports that are available to other users in your organization. The Netskope Library folder contains predefined reports and widgets that you can use as a template to build your own personalized reports.

Other Features

  • View, clone, copy, or move reports – Any of the reports in the folders can be cloned, copied, or moved to different folders. Note, role based access control rules apply to any of the reports. You can make any edits or save the Netskope Library and Group reports to your Personal folder.

  • Schedule – Click any report and click the gear icon to schedule or send / share a report.

  • Data Retention – Netskope Enhanced Reports supports 90 days of data retention for Enhanced Reports. To learn more: Enhanced Reports Data Retention

Where Can I Find My Reports?

All reports are in Personal, Group, or Netskope Library folders.

  • Personal – All report templates you create, clone, copy, or move appear in this folder. Only you have access to this folder.

  • Group – All reports other users share appear in this tab. Any report you add to this folder is available to users in your organization.

  • Netskope Library – Reports and widgets are templates that you can use to get started with your own reports. If you choose to save the template as your own, it will appear in the Personal folder.
